I've searched everywhere for an
appropriate compass for the scooter
and I have finally found it!
Its best features: easy to read, small package, can be used handheld.

This is a little gem of a compass. You can find it on the web for about $36. It runs on AAA batteries or from you 12vt system via cigarette lighter (you can hardwire that in). I use Energizer® e2® Lithium batteries. Long life charge in the extreme! And the compass snaps out so you can keep it safe in your pocket. |
It comes with a bolt on mount. But you can use an industrial double backed tape or the supplied suction cups. Just remember there is a lot of vibration that could possibly make the suction cups fail. I attached the holder onto the side bolt of my fog lamp.
