Replace your antennae like mirrors with Bar
End Mirrors
How about
this!

Now, these mirrors take some getting used to if you've never
had them before. However, they are great mirrors. They are made from
real glass and are a real bargain. As far as "lane sharing" is concerned, they
are actually a bit narrower than the stock mirrors! This plus
the fact that you can flip them aside make them very effective for lane sharing,
IMO.

These units are great
Third-Eye Bar End Mirrors.
They are sold as "left side" mirrors, but you will need 2 of them. Just
flip it over for the right hand side. |
|
They come with 2 sets of rubber expansion
plugs. But, you won't be using them. |

 |
You will need to cut a hole in each of the
grips. And you must tap a threaded hole into each
side of the handle bar. In the case of these Third-Eye mirrors, that
would be a
10-24 thread. |
|
This is the left hand side. No stand-off
required. Just trim the screw down to about 3/8" exposed thread. |
| |
|
|
 |
|
 |
|
The right hand side will require a rigid standoff as shown. This is
important as the rubber expansion plug would have
interfered with the throttle grip. |
|
It is a great modification to the stock
ET4. |
| It must be noted that this modifications may violate DOT laws.
This modification is experimental and untested. Do these modifications at your own risk! |
