My 10-Hour 3D Print: The Best Version of the Full-Color Heart

A few months ago, I decided to spend 10 hours printing a 3D heart. This was not just any old heart though – it was the best possible version of a full-color 3D heart. I wanted to challenge myself and see how far I could push the envelope with 3D printing technology.

When I decided to print a 3D heart, I knew that I had to make it the best version ever printed. I started by modeling it in Blender, then adding detail in Maya. But the real magic happened in Zbrush, where I added a bump map and displacement. This made the heart look so realistic! Finally, I printed it on our J750 Stratasys.

Post-process:

The heart was printed and we started post-processing. First, we sanded the surface with 320 dry sandpaper to eliminate any defects or defects in printing. In the next step, it was done with 600, 800, 1500, 2000, and 3000 wet sandpaper, respectively. Finally, a polishing machine with a buffing wheel was used for ten minutes. And here is the heart after printing and processing!

My printed heart came out looking absolutely amazing! The detail and realism are incredible – it’s definitely the best version of a full-color 3D heart that I’ve ever seen.

Check out the video below to see for yourself. I’m so proud of what I was able to achieve in just ten hours!

Thanks for reading.
